Northern Architects was commissioned by Vermont Technical College to
prepare a design for its new two-year Dental Hygiene Program at the new Williston, Blair Park campus. A plan was developed to provide a dental clinic for hands-on training, with 22 patient stations in an office practice setting.

The facility also includes a complete radiography suite, classroom, patient waiting room, offices and student locker rooms. An extensive, detailed design of the clinic was needed to integrate the dental equipment and systems into the existing building. The construction work required the complete gutting and reconstruction of the interior space of an existing commercial building. New plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems were also required to meet the needs
of the new program.
