Norwich Public Library

The main collection space of the historic Norwich Library had become overcrowded and poorly utilized. This space was restored to its former presence through the renovation and expansion designed by Northern Architects. Our work also included updating an addition built in the 1970’s, to allow for access to people with physical disabilities, expanding the upper level, and creating a new Children’s Library and multipurpose room in the expanded lower level.
Construction began in September 1998 and was completed on time and within budget in Summer 2000.
