Monkton Central School

Monkton Central School is a K-6 facility in a small but growing town. A
growing student population and inadequate support facilities have caused overcrowding for years. Northern Architects was asked to create a design solution that would provide for better use of the existing building while adding
a new six classroom wing. Another priority was to renovate again mechanical/electrical systems and to provide safe vehicular access onto the school grounds and safer outdoor recreation areas.

The completed design, including renovations and the new addition provided 25,500 square feet. Construction was completed in October of 1998.
