Middlebury College Snow Bowl was originally built during the 1960’s and had become outdated and overcrowded. Northern Architects developed a complete redesign of the existing facility. Staff spaces were improved by reorganizing offices, renovating the existing Ski Shop, and modernizing and expanding the Kitchen. Skier amenities were improved by added upper levels to both single story wings, extending the first floor dinning area, and adding a south-facing, roof deck. The project was completed on budget in a tight one year schedule, and was open to the skiing public in the winter of 2004-2005.
