Retirement Apartments

The new Gill Terrace Retirement Apartments is composed of 36 one-bedroom apartments located within a single, two-story building. The new apartments are intended for senior and handicapped tenants. All of the apartments are handicap accessible and the building includes a community space and other common services. The new 30,000 SF building is co-located on the same site with 24 existing one-bedroom, senior apartments and the Gill Odd Fellows Nursing Home. While technically independent of one another, these three facilities cooperate to provide a range of housing options and services to seniors and handicapped individuals. The project is funded by grants from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development and the State of Vermont. Construction started in September 2005 and was completed in October 2006.
