Northern Architects was founded in 1982 and is a full service architectural firm. Our primary professional staff includes four architects, a LEED accredited project associate and several paraprofessional staff. We are a talented, energetic and focused group of professionals committed to good design and efficient service.

Each individual at Northern Architects has a broad range of skills, which makes us very flexible in how we staff our projects, as well as the number and types of projects we can handle at one time.

We have a history of many types of public projects, both large and small, that helped develop our skills and approach to design solutions. Most of our projects include the preparation of architectural programs that can be very detailed and complex or, very simple statements of space needs. We also have extensive experience with feasibility studies and preparing design options and cost comparisons.

Northern Architects also maintains a commitment to sustainable design and energy conservation. We apply LEED design criteria to many of our projects even when they are not scheduled to be LEED Certified. We are always looking for ways to improve the energy performance on our buildings and strive to find the most cost effective solutions.
